Happy 2016 to all our readers. Please check out www.figjamandlimecordial.com, the wonderful blog by Celia the founder of IMK.
I can’t wait to share everyone’s kitchen stories this year again. So here goes
In My Kitchen this January –
I am fighting the winter blues with these delicious organic Yogi Teas. My favourite is the spicy comforting Choco tea. The cocoa combines with sweet liquorice, cinnamon, spicy ginger and cardamom in a heavenly tea blend. Even the teabags smell divine.
What I love most about this range of tea is that each individual teabag comes with its own message. The one in the photo above says ‘Live to share,’ and the one below says ‘Live light, travel light, spread the light, be the light.’
I also love this Dragonfly tea called Swirling Mist which I purchased from Waitrose.
January is such a bleak month that I decide to give you all a laugh with my comedy teabag. Did anyone else know you could get teabags like this? I must have lived a very sheltered life!
My new cookbook ‘Deliciously Ella,’ by Ella Woodward.
Selfridges Wine. A Christmas gift from my father in law.
Beautiful rib eye steak from Master Butchers of Epsom.
Finally I wanted to share a little light with all our readers this January by posting a few of my husbands photographs from our trip to the Christmas lights at RHS Wisley.
Wishing you all a very Happy New Year, Emma, Ross and Alice xxx
