Sherkin Island

I really didn’t know where to begin in terms of packing/organising for our first holiday abroad with baby Alice. We have a Volvo XC60 plus roof box so space wasn’t too much of an issue.

We booked a cabin for the ferry journey to Ireland which made life easier as it gave us somewhere to keep all our baby stuff, chill out and let Alice have a nap.

Exhausted from the long car journey we finally arrived at Inish Beg, a magical private island estate just a few miles from the charming market town of Skibbereen and the idyllic port of Baltimore.  With its exquisite gardens, woodlands, parkland, farmland and foresaw, Inish Beg enchants all who choose it for their self catering holiday in West Cork.
