Thank you to Celia at Fig Jam and Lime Cordial for another chance to see inside other food blogger’s kitchens this month with her ingenious In My Kitchen posts…
In My Kitchen this March…
I would highly recommend the WUSTHOF knives I bought this month. High quality, top class products, made with great diligence right down to the last detail. Food preparation has never been so enjoyable. www.wuesthof.com.
This delicious loaf of bread made by my husband.
Lamb tagine with lemon and parsley couscous. Click here for my recipe.
The sun has finally made an appearance here in the U.K this weekend so I have taken the opportunity to prepare my vegetable boxes with horse manure and mushroom compost for this years growing season. It is amazing what a bit fs sunshine can do for your mood. I also planted a first crop of seed potatoes in containers.
Last years garden produce.
Finally Miles was four on the 3rd of March and celebrated with prawns for his tea. He also got a box of his favourite Hi-Life cat food sachet’s, a packet of Hi-Life cat treats and a new cat toy!
Wishing all our readers a Happy March!

Loving all these “what’s in my kitchen” posts. Strangely addictive. By the way, Miles is too cute!
I love getting a look into my blogger friends kitchens. Our voyeuristic nature laps it up. A little sun is so welcome after a very cold winter, can’t wait to plant, sounds like you already started and are an accomplished gardener. Happy Birthday to your sweet kitty, sounds like a great birthday for Miles.
Thanks Suzanne. I wouldn’t say I’m an accomplished gardner. I’m a beginner really and I tend to make things up as I go along. But it is a lot of fun. Take care.
Love my Wustohf knives – if you don’t have the tomato knife, that’s my fave
Thanks for the recommendation!
Hello, another newbie here 😀 nice to meet you and visit your world 👍 love so much of your post, especially that shot of London 😍
Good knives truly do make a difference! We recently had some sunshine and warm weather too and loved it. Now it’s back to rain , I am so over the rain! Good luck with your garden, I’m hoping ours produces well this year too!
Good knives make all the difference in the kitchen – may you have a lifetime of good cooking with them! Good luck with the gardening though judging by last years produce you don’t really need it. Happy birthday to Miles and thanks for the peek into your kitchen this month!
I’ve been looking at wusthof for knives as I want to get some better ones. We do have a cleaver which my husband was awarded by Saveur when he won their drinks blogger category a few years ago, but it’s a huge and heavy thing so hard to use it much! How are the knives to use?
Kavey (first time IMKer this month)
Hi,
Welcome to IMK. The wusthof knives are brilliant but incredibly sharp. I have cut myself a few times. But they do make food prep a pleasure. They are nice and light too. Take care. Emma.
Are you making anything green for St. Patrick’s Day?
Loving the tagine!
Thanks Melissa. It is delicious!
